1. Information We Collect

Account and Profile Information

When you create or use an Atlanime account, we may collect information such as:

• Phone number
• Display name
• Profile photograph or image
• Account identifier
• Other information you voluntarily add to your profile

Your phone number may be used to authenticate your account, verify your identity, prevent unauthorized access, and support account recovery.

User-Generated Content

When you use the app’s communication or community features, we may collect and store content you submit, including:

• Chat messages
• Message timestamps
• Your display name and profile image associated with a message
• Reports submitted about messages or users
• The reason selected when submitting a report
• Additional information voluntarily provided in a report

Messages and profile information may be visible to other users participating in the same chat or event community.

Photos and Images

If you choose to upload a profile image or another supported image, the app may access the photo you select from your device’s photo library.

Atlanime only accesses photos that you choose to provide through the app. We do not access your entire photo library or collect photos that you have not selected.

Device and Technical Information

We and our service providers may automatically receive limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and maintain the app, such as:

• Device type and operating system
• App version
• Device or app identifiers
• Internet Protocol address
• Authentication and security information
• Diagnostic, crash, and performance information
• Dates and times the app or its services are accessed

The exact technical information collected may depend on the Firebase services and other infrastructure enabled within the app.

2. How We Use Information

We may use the information we collect to:

• Create, authenticate, and maintain user accounts
• Verify phone numbers and prevent unauthorized access
• Display user profiles and profile images
• Allow users to communicate with other event attendees
• Provide event schedules, guest information, artist information, announcements, and other event features
• Review reported messages, display names, accounts, or other content
• Investigate abuse, harassment, spam, inappropriate conduct, or violations of our rules
• Provide customer service and respond to questions
• Maintain the security and reliability of the app
• Diagnose technical problems and improve app performance
• Comply with applicable laws and enforce our terms and policies

We do not sell users’ personal information.

We do not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising unless this Privacy Policy and the app’s privacy disclosures are updated to explain that practice.

3. Information Shared With Other Users

Certain information is intended to be shared with other users as part of the app’s community features. This may include:

• Profile image
• Chat messages
• Other information you intentionally make visible through your profile or messages

Please avoid posting phone numbers, addresses, financial information, passwords, or other sensitive personal information in public or group chats.

Google Firebase

Atlanime uses Google Firebase services to support app functionality and infrastructure. Depending on the Firebase features enabled, Firebase may process account identifiers, device and app information, IP addresses, service usage information, authentication information, diagnostic data, and other information necessary to provide its services.

Google processes information according to its applicable Firebase and Google privacy terms.

Our service providers may only access information as necessary to perform services for Atlanime or as otherwise permitted by their agreements and applicable law.

5. Content Reports and Safety

Users may report messages, display names, accounts, or other content that they believe is inappropriate or violates our community rules.

Reports may be reviewed by Atlanime administrators. We may retain the reported content, associated account information, report reason, and relevant technical records while we investigate the report and determine whether action is appropriate.

Actions may include removing content, warning a user, restricting features, suspending an account, terminating an account, or reporting unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide the app and maintain user accounts
• Support community and safety features
• Review reports and enforce our policies
• Maintain security and prevent fraud or abuse
• Meet legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations
• Resolve disputes

Some information may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion. We may also retain certain records when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent abuse, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Atlanime account and associated personal information by using the account-deletion option available within the app or by contacting us at:

When submitting a deletion request, please provide enough information for us to identify and verify your account.

Deleting an account may not immediately remove:

• Messages or content that must be retained for safety or legal purposes
• Information included in active abuse investigations
• Information maintained in temporary backups
• De-identified or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify you

We will process verified deletion requests in accordance with applicable law.

8. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Request access to personal information we maintain about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Receive a portable copy of certain information
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Appeal certain decisions concerning a privacy request

9. Security

However, no application, internet transmission, or electronic storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting access to your device and account and for promptly notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.

10. Children’s Privacy

Atlanime is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that personal information was collected from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us at info@atlanimefest.com .

If the event or app is intended for users under 13, this section and our data-handling practices will need to be revised before release.

11. Legal Disclosures

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

• Comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request
• Investigate fraud, abuse, harassment, threats, or illegal conduct
• Enforce our agreements, rules, and policies
• Protect the rights, property, security, or safety of Atlanime, our users, event attendees, or others

12. Business Transfers

If Atlanime is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

Atlanime and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. These locations may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws where you live.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app, our practices, or legal requirements change.
